These licenses will expire on 31 October 2022 and the new 5G nationwide legal rights will begin in November 2022, a 2021 session paper from MBIE division Radio Spectrum Administration spelled out.

WISPs, thus, needed alternate spectrum whilst growing demand for private networks to guidance market verticals also had to be tackled.
